The The Big Friendly Triangle is the name of the region connected by Chattanooga, TN, Birmingham, AL, and Atlanta, GA. Even though these major cities are well known, the small towns and cities in between the three points are just as significant.
What unites these cities together is friendship. These towns and cities are known for their hospitality and are the perfect place to spread the message of the World Friendship Flag. Our mission is to make the message of The World Friendship Flag known across all areas of the world, starting with The Big Friendly Triangle. The Big Friendly Triangle, is an area that defines a region of small towns in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia.
In the center of the triangle is where our founder,
John Turner, lives. Thanks to his efforts, Summerville is now known as the Friendship Capital of the World.
Behind the mission of the World Friendship Flag and The Big Friendly Triangle is a greater purpose. Through this project, we aim to give hope to those in need to end childhood hunger.
For over 30 years, the World Friendship Flag has been flown across the country to raise awareness about this mission.
The ultimate goal of The World Friendship Flag is to establish a global presence in cyberspace, fostering connections among schools worldwide through a spirit of friendship and care.
Together, we can create a world where kindness transcends borders and nourishes those in need.
